Dakota Squadron Logo

The Dakota Squadron Logo design was inspired by a photo of a C-47 with paratroopers getting ready to board the plane for the flight into the Market Garden battle fields of Holland. On the fuselage of this C-47 are painted parachutes, camels and red crosses respectively depicting the number of paratrooper, cargo and casualty evacuation flights.

The Dakota Squadron Logo contains these very same symbols as well as the Dakota Squadron's C53 "Darling Doreen", on a background of the flags of both the USA and Holland.
